Legacy Symposium – Celebration of Fraternities, Sororities & Social Fellowships at MSU

Greek Sing- 11:00a.m. on the Academic Quad.
Dating back to the 1960’s, Morgan State University FSL organizations sung during University hour. In 2009 the NPHC brought that tradition back and 2011 partnered with the CIO to promote UNITY. Every organization will get two (2) minuets to sing a national hymn, circle step or song that is a part of the chapter/organization legacy. Once everyone is done, all groups come together and sing a song.
The Legacy Symposium started in 2009 to highlight the Greek Lettered Organizations and Social Fellowships at Morgan State University, as well as provide historical context and background for all attendees. This is the one prestigious event where all 19 organization’s with chapters at Morgan State University are in one room at the same time. Since it’s inception, different leaders from each organization (State, Regional and National) have sat on the panel and gave life changing information for both members of the FSL Community and onward.
